Banapple certainly isn’t home to JUST heavenly dessert but to sumptuous entrees that will surely leave your tummy filled. With the prices going up here and there, a lot of Filipino families want to get the bang for their buck when it comes to dining. After a merry lunch with my friends at Banapple Greenhills, I thought it was a great place to bring my family on a weekend for a chillax lunch date. The prices range from P120-P195 for salads, sandwiches, entrees and desserts. Their smoothies are priced at P105 which tastes better than the other smoothies served on other similar bakery cafe I went to.
So let’s start the food scrutiny shall we?
Salad
I shared the salad with a friend and we were both satisfied with its taste, amount and freshness. Just the right amount of dressing (don’t you hate it when the dressing over powers the taste of the greens?). It’s made of croutons, mix of greens, peanuts, light ceasar salad dressing & bacon bits. It’s light and refreshing.
Pasta
This is what will make me come back to Banapple a hundred times more. It has light cream inside the rolled up lasagna which complements the tomato based sauce around it. Definitely a must try!
Trio of Sausages Fettuccine P180
Great combination of protein-filled ingredients but not exceptional (or was it because I ate too much of the rolled lasagna and nothing could taste better after?). It’s made of chorizo bits, garlic longganisa, and Hungarian sausage, tossed in garlic, parmesan cheese, and a very light cream sauce.
Entree (pronounced as ahn- tray)
Banapple Beef & Sausage Stew P195
Tendered beef in array of sausages and button mushroom, generously served with a thick sauce. Beef was so tender it almost melts in the mouth BUT I would suggest Banapple to keep the saltiness at bay. It was too strong and no one would want that. I would one day go back on the same Banapple branch and order this dish to see if it was just an “accidental” saltiness or if they improved. It would also be a nice idea to try the same dish from a different branch.
Breaded Fillet of Cream Dory with Honey Thyme Mustard Sauce P185
A platter of Dory fillet blanketed in herb crust drizzled with warm honey thyme mustard sauce and served with glazed carrots. For a Mom who cooks cream dory regularly, this is a break from my usual recipe. I like that it has honey which is very healthy for my kid. (Thank goodness, it was not salty! )
Cakes
Honeylovin’ Crunch Cake P110/slice (P1050 whole)
For honey lovers this is definitely a winner. Not too sweet and perfect for a rainy day paired with a hot cocoa or coffee.
White Chocolate Truffle Berry Cheesecake P110/slice (P1050 whole)
Sinfully delicious! I would imagine though that this is best eaten dine-in (or refrigerate immediately). I would not be surprised if the taste changes after a few hours of letting it stand at room temperature. It’s filled with syrupy berries and the berry taste complements the sweetness of the truffle.
Cadbury Gold Orea Cheesecake P135/slice (P1580 whole)
For the price, it’s super worth it! This is my favourite! I love love love the Cadbury “crust”. You know when you fork some cheesecakes, it literally breaks into million pieces? Well this awesome cheesecake does not! It stays firm but moist, intact and perfect for sharing with your lovelies! Definitely worth your monies!
Smoothies
Banapple Smoothie & Fresh Mango Smoothie P105 each
Please note that your taste bud could be different from mine. Yours must be familiar with a more sophisticated taste and mine’s not so make sure to give Banapple a try and comment back here.

They look really good. That's one place I didn't have the chance going even though they opened one in Ayala Triangle. Hope I can try them when I get back home.
Blog hopping here & followed you!
Hi Rachelle,
Thank you for dropping by 🙂 Tell me what your experience with Banapple when you get to try them.
I hate you! You are making me drool right now! 🙂 I've been to Banapple only once, and tried their Banoffee pie, and I must say, I am a fan. I went to their ayala triangle branch. Next time, I'm definitely going to try the dishes you've mentioned, especially the lasagna… still I hate you for making me so hungry right now! 🙂 🙂
My recent post Marriage-Saving Tip: Kill Him With Kindness
