I can’t type one more word in this post without thinking of grabbing my Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate Fruit & Nut bar from our fridge. That is insanely my poison. Give me a bar and we’ll be bffs forever!

Anyway, my addiction to Cabdury Dairy Milk Chocolate Fruit & Nut (wow, saying that is a mouthful, huh?) roots back to my father who is THE number 1 fan. I can’t remember a day without any Cabdury Dairy Milk Chocolate in our pantry. You know I spent my childhood days in the Mindanao and chocolates like Cadbury Dairy Milk isn’t readily available on our local supermarket, what my Mom does is she asks her sisters to send us some from Manila. If not, we would travel 3 hours to buy (more like hoard)  from a nearby city.

I don’t know, maybe it’s the scarcity of the chocolate or the beautiful taste that got me so drawn to Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate. I love smelling the chocolate bar and feeling the smooth wrapper before  furiously opening it.

Fast forward to today, my daughter is as happy as I am when we share a bar of Cadbury Fruit & Nut chocolate. We’ve tried a lot of other brands but we are still drawn to the charms of our well loved Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate. For generations, the chocolate has been a symbolic item for us. It’s there when I celebrate joyful occasions with my family, it’s there when I needed something to console me, it’s there during courtship and finally there to share with my husband and daughter.

How about you, what’s your Cadbury Milk Chocolate story?
