Last Sunday we went to Carmelite Sisters of Mary, Star of the Sea at Tanay, Rizal. They were monghas of the Order of Carmelites. When I was still preggo, we visited them and they were so excited! Mother superior touched my belly and prayed for me and my baby. Then last Sunday, we were able to bring Peaches with us for them to see and bless.
The place really gets me. It’s faaaarrrrrr from urbanity and it’s calming to my soul. It humbles me to think that these sisters left whatever they had from the outside world and vowed to poverty. Thinking that sometimes we tend to oversee things that we have and look for more than we could have.
Can’t resist having my pic taken from their small chapel. If only I could post the sisters’ pics I would. But I’d rather respect their anonymity.
