Griffith Observatory was a fun trip for Peaches. She became so engrossed and interested with the planets, the season, the celestial party and so on.

Some tips:

If you want to have a distant view of the Hollywood sign, the Griffith Observatory is a nice place to have your photo taken.

It’s best to go there at 5:00PM and wait for night fall since you won’t be able to see much when it’s day time. Except the area about the sun where you can see a live telescope feed of the sun.

There are 2 huge telescopes you can find on the front lawn of the observatory. It depends on the facility which planet they focus on. Be sure to go view both!

When night falls, be sure to line up on the biggest telescope up their roof deck because the queuing can get crazy and they closes at 9:30PM regardless of the line.
