You can actually pass through San Fernando exit but it would take you longer because of traffic. SCTEX seem to be a long cut but travel time is shorter because few vehicles pass through it.
I can’t count how many toll gates we passed and paid but in totality we shelled P429.
At the park you may need to pay for the following:
1. Photos that vary from P300 up
2. Animal feeding- from P10 to 250 (raw chicken)
3. Tram P50- P100
4. Food and beverage
5. Souvenir
Water and chips are also allowed inside the park so you might want to bring some 🙂 Also it will be wise to bring extra shirts (yes that’s plural. If you sweat a lot, you need more than 1 extra shirt).
