Makati Wellness Studio is located at JP Rizal Street in Makati City. It’s near Makati City Hall and just across petron gasoline station and atop Chowking. It’s not really hard to find if you know how to get to Makati City Hall. Check out Earth’s nice post about them here.
The staff are very friendly and competent. All staff went through trainings to give you only the best service. I like that they practice hygienic procedures.
My Diamond Peel experience at Makati Wellness Studio ( Regular Diamond Peel P799)
I was asked to change into a silk robe and then I was prepped for the diamond peel.First, I had facial and opted to have my blackheads extracted (you can choose to skip this and fyi- normally on other facial salon, extraction will cost you extra but with Makati Wellness Studio, it’s part of their Diamond Peel procedure).
The extraction was painful but bearable considering it’s my first to try it. The Diamond Peel procedure itself was not painful 🙂 you’ll just feel the coarseness of the instrument but you can ask your attendant to lessen the pressure.
My Foot Spa Experience at Makati Wellness Studio (P249-299)
The foot spa attendant was a guy, I say this first because I understand how some women are squeamish of this idea. I had a guy attendant at another foot spa so it was not new to me plus the attendant was really nice and professional so it was never an issue.
I like how thorough the foot spa was. I didn’t feel it was hurried— that’s my problem with other foot spa salon. I didn’t have my pedicure so I couldn’t vouch for that service.
My Massage Experience at Makati Wellness Studio (P 249-999)
The masseuse was trained and it showed on how she did my pressure points. It was not a hurried massage which I liked. The ambiance on the massage room was also very relaxing.
To top it all, the salon is equipped with a very fast wi-fi! Pah.Nah.Loh!
