We recently purchased a new energy saver automatic washing machine and dryer from Whirlpool. We got the 7.8kg top load automatic washer and dryer. I was originally set to get the other washer and dryer from another brand because it’s cheaper but the sales person was very convincing and it doesn’t help that my husband is easily persuaded. What SOLD us is Whirlpool’s energy saver and the intelligent auto weight detect which will correspond to the proper type of wash. ie, the machine detects the weight as heavy, it will put enough water level and will set the program to heavy.
So far, we’re loving it! We’ve been using this every day and our electric bill hasn’t sky rocketed, thanks to its energy saver.
Before turning it on, you just need to put your detergent powder on the box, the fabric conditioner on a slot on top of the tub and also a bleach box if you want to add it.
When done, you can turn on the machine and start the program. There’s also a timer to tell you how many minutes it’ll do its magic before it rings to call you to pick up the laundry to hang dry.

So far no significant change in our water consumption. I have been using the ENERGY SAVER everyday.
I do the laundry twice a day.

Yes, I would recommend this washing machine. I would think mas makakatipid with the automatic because kayang i-gauge nang machine yung amount of water based on the bigat nang laundry and the option you chose (ie. energy saving, heavy, light,etc).
As for ilang tshirt ang nasasama sa isang cycle..hehe I don’t know talaga. But to give you an idea, the machine is serving 5 adults and 2 kids. We wash twice per day (one for colored and one for whites).

Hi as per my husband you just need to buy an adapter to connect the hose to the water supply or your faucet. I think they called it hose adapter.

I highly recommend this Washer, it’s been almost 3yrs old na yan same washer namin and no problem with it and it’s easy to use! I’m so happy with Whirlpool! 😀

Last night my daughter used the washing machine after using the light button present was open and
can no longer response all other button.
Please don’t buy this product. Bad costumer service they easily broke really hard to call for service when the unit broke. May washing machine broke down 6 times in 2months. Sorry don’t really recommend this brand.
dont ever try to have this unit… we had this only last october and after a week we need to call a technician because the unit dd not work property. Technicians were here every after 2 weeks to check the unit and up to now we did not get the proper action. our clothes became expanded every after use. this is only wasting you money. not a good buy!!!
hi po, question lang.. medyo nalilito ako sa pag use.. kasi hndi ko nabasa ung manual dhil sa in-laws ko ung washing machine.. nagtataka ako bkit automatic sya nag dedrain mag isa khit nilalagay ko lng sa wash? kasi may lalabhan p ko na iba. to save water and detergent sana.. please help.. hndi ko din ma ask in lae ko kasi matanda na, hndi nya maintindihan tinatanong ko.. thanks!

Unfortunately, ganun tlaga ang set up niya. Drain niya after the wash and then mag lalagay siya nang water again for the next wash (hinde siya once lang iikot kasi for the same batch).

Hi i am using this model exactly 2yrs now. Kaso today bigla na lang ayaw mag On, then after a while pagka plug in ko naging static na siya. Makkita mo nagbiblink yun timer at ilaw sa water lever at program. Naiistress ako, tapos hindi pa makontak ang service cntr. Sa tingin nio ba pwedeng ibang electrician ko na lang ipagawa? Anyone may idea kung magkano ang pagpagawa sa authomatic washer. TIA

Yes, it’s still working as of today (7 years after) and honestly I have not tried their customer service cuz I had no reason for any repair done YET.
