>Since I have excess beef broth from the Beef Brisket I just cooked, I decided to use the beef broth for Sinigang na Corned beef, there are extra mouth to feed anyway.
In an ordinary day, I would use water and beef cubes (bouillon cube).
Ingredients:
1 can Corned beef
4 cups beef broth
Sinigang mix
1. Let the broth boil then add corned beef and let it simmer for 5 mins (just to incorporate the taste of the corned beef with the broth).
2. Add sinigang mix, simmer.
3. Taste and season accordingly.
Viola! Quick fix!
You can also add cabbage (I didn’t because I don’t have any teehee)
>I heard this is one of Manny Pacquaio's favorite dishes. I should try this, too. My husband and son both love sinigang. Question: Should we be using sinigang vegetables (kangkong, sitaw, okra, etc.) and not cabbage?
>Hi Tetcha 🙂 I think kangkong will go well with the corned beef but there's always room for a kitchen experiment! Let me know!
