It was our internship as medical technologist and we were on duty during the holidays. My friends and I were coming from an all night duty, one Christmas Day and we decided to spend it together. It was the annual Manila Film Fest Parade at Rizal Park so we headed there to star watch. How lucky could we get? It rained hard and the parade didn’t start until 4PM (we were there as early as 11AM). We were soaking, tired and hungry when suddenly people started to ran towards the main road, the parade started. We ran along with hundreds of die hard fans, and squeezed our way in to the front row. We were all screaming and jumping like crazy as floats pass us. Nevermind the stinky smell of the person next to me. When it was over, we were so hyped and hungry, and no foodchain was open. We had to walk to the not-so-near mall to grab our super late lunch. It was tiring but hey, our favorite star smiled down at us! lol.
